Do YOU have these conception rates?

KCFert’s Research Farm Conception

KCFert has two research farms, we use these to compare soil tests, plant health, and Animal Dietary Mineral balances. Each farm has a different fertiliser policy.

Reports from both: “Pregnancy Minda Live – Whole Herd in calf” and “Open Country Environmental”
are available on request.

These are real numbers taken from our test farms. How do these numbers stack up with your farm?

Our Advantages

Monitoring

KCFert is the only company in NZ doing extensive cage cutting monitoring, therefore we can offer accurate comparisons that cannot be accessed by any other company.

Industry Knowledge

Our knowledge encompasses all the farming sectors, as do our cage cuts; so regardless of what type of farming you are involved in, we have the expertise you need and the evidence to back it up.

20 Years

We have monitored all fertilisers by cage curtting over the last 20 years, during which time we have seen flood, drought, and every weather pattern in between, enabling us to offer extensive information and advice.

Scientific Evidence

Every piece of advice we give is supported by scientific evidence.
There is no guesswork.

What is KCFert?

While on a very basic level KCFert could be described as a fertiliser, the KCFert recommendations are quite different to the traditional fertilisers used extensively today.

The more accurate description of KCFert (Ascophyllom Nodosum Seaweed) is that of a foliage feeder.

Our Success

Proof of success is difficult to determine when there is no pre-recorded data. KCFert’s success is measured by achieving the individual results desired by individual farmers.

However, KCFert does have some anecdotal evidence.

  • Bearings from 40 per thousand to 4 per thousand ewes.
  • Dramatically less facial eczema (some farmers say now only the odd 1 or 2).
  • Fewer lamb deaths.
  • Better wool condition.
  • Better pasture quality according to Hill’s Laboratories analysis.
  • Superior dietary components – Hill’s “Animal Dietary Mineral Balance” New Paragraph.
